Uses:

1. Dye intermediate used in the manufacture of sulfur dyes, azo dyes, fur dyes, and fluorescent brightener EB. Also used as a raw material for the insecticide phosalone in the pesticide industry.

2. Primarily used in the manufacture of acid mordant blue R, sulfur brown, and other dyes, and also as a fur dye. Also used in the cosmetics industry as a dye additive in hair dyes.

3. Used for the determination of silver and tin and the analysis of gold. Also used as an intermediate for diazo and sulfur dyes.

4. Used in the manufacture of dyes, pharmaceuticals, and plastic curing agents.
